- Assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments for a range of clients.
- Conducting fieldwork, including testing financial controls and verifying financial statements.
- Preparing audit working papers and ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
- Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
- Supporting senior auditors and managers in delivering high-quality audits.
- Preparing financial statements and management accounts when required.
- Staying up to date with accounting and audit regulations.
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or working towards qualification).
- At least 1-2 years of audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in audit and accounting software.
