What you will be doing as an Audit Semi Senior

  • Audit Planning & Execution: Take ownership of planning, executing, and completing audits from start to finish for NFP clients, including charities, schools and liveries.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering a tailored service to meet their specific needs.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly with clients and team members to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of audit services.
  • Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements in line with FRS 102 and other relevant frameworks.
  • Review & Finalisation: Review audit work and ensure all documentation is in order prior to finalising the audit.

What you will need to succeed as an Audit Semi Senior

  • Experience: Previous experience in audit, ideally with exposure to NFP or charity clients, such as schools or other similar organisations.
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA student (or equivalent) with study support provided for completion of your qualification.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of UK GAAP, financial reporting standards, and audit regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proactive: A motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their work and is eager to learn and grow within the audit field.
