Ambition are working with one of the most progressive accountancy firm in the Top 100 who are looking to hire an Audit Semi-Senior due to continued growth. You will be able to work on clients that include multinationals, AIM listed businesses, SMEs and OMBs.

The audit team is the fastest-growing team in the firm, with an average growth rate of over 33% in recent years.

There is a real focus on work-life balance in the firm, offering excellent flexibility with only 2 days in the office required! Additionally, they aim to recognize staff potential early on and provide the support and development needed for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements.
  • Perform audit fieldwork and gather evidence to support audit conclusions.
  • Prepare audit working papers and documentation.
  • Identify and communicate audit findings to senior team members.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting and auditing standards.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Circa 18-24 months of UK audit experience within an accountancy firm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ideally no more than 2 fails (mitigating circumstances can be considered)
