Our client, a prestigious Top 50 accounting firm, is seeking an Audit Senior to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional, nearly or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA), to step into a challenging and rewarding role.

Role Overview

The Audit Senior will be responsible for managing the end-to-end audit process for a diverse portfolio of clients. Working as part of a collaborative team, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services while building strong client relationships.

What you will be doing as an Audit Senior:

  • Leading audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Reviewing and preparing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
  • Liaising with clients to address queries, resolve issues, and ensure clear communication throughout the engagement.
  • Working closely with managers and partners on more complex audits and ad hoc assignments.
  • Identifying risks and ensuring appropriate controls are implemented.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Nearly or newly qualified ACA/ACCA professional.
  • Previous experience working within a practice, with exposure to all aspects of the audit process.
  • Sound knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
