Audit Senior / Assistant Manager

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Planning and leading audit engagements, primarily onsite, which accounts for 70% of the time.
  • Preparing accounts and drafting tax computations, comprising the remaining 30% of duties.
  • Liaising with clients to resolve queries and escalating complex matters to managers or partners.
  • Reviewing team members’ work before submission to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Coaching junior staff and providing feedback to aid their development.
  • Managing assignment times to adhere to predetermined budgets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in statutory audits within an accountancy practice is essential.
  • Fully qualified ACA or ACCA.
  • Proficient knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Familiarity with audit software, preferably Caseware, and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
