- Leading and managing audit assignments from planning to completion.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and technical support.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients during audit engagements.
- Ensuring audits comply with relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing audit work and resolving technical issues with managers and partners.
- Managing audit budgets and ensuring timely completion of assignments.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and advising clients on best practices.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience).
- At least 3 years of audit experience in a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
- Experience leading audits and managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Proficiency in audit and accounting software.
