The firm is in a strong position to selectively choose clients, ensuring they avoid high-risk engagements and maintain a healthy work-life balance for their team.Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning and Execution: Leading the audit process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Team Leadership: Assigning tasks to junior auditors, reviewing their work for accuracy, and providing mentorship and guidance.
- Client Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and gathering necessary audit data.
- Risk and Control Evaluation: Conducting risk assessments and evaluating internal controls to ensure they are effective and compliant.
- Reporting: Preparing comprehensive audit reports, presenting findings to management and stakeholders, and recommending improvements for compliance and efficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Applying knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, and staying updated on current market trends and auditing practices.
- Continuous Development: Continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge, and sharing insights with colleagues to improve the overall audit process.
Requirements:
- ACA, ICAEW, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Audit experience at a Top 100, mid-tier, or large independent firm in the UK.
- Extensive experience working under UK GAAP/FRS 102.
- Experience with IFRS is beneficial.
- Experience auditing listed clients and AIM-listed clients is advantageous.
- Must have right to work in the UK with no sponsorship requirements
