Would you like to work in modern, city-centre London offices for a dynamic and contemporary firm of accountants? Are you an auditor with skills developed to Senior level keen to be taking home an epic rewards package and a salary to £53k p/a?

We're advertising on behalf of this slick and modern firm to find a future face of audit to join their evolving and energetic team. If you possess the relevant skills in audit and relationship building, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for a technically excellent, confident and articulate candidate who can inspire a team of junior auditors, nurture fantastic and loyal client relationships and autonomously oversee audit services on behalf of the firm from planning to completion. The clients this firm are auditing for are varied and interesting; the list includes HNWIs, OMBs and some public interest entities. Plus you'll have the opportunity to be involved on ad hoc assignments as and when required. No two days will be the same.

You'll be ACA, ACCA or CA qualified or a finalist, a team player and a trusted pair of hands when working on audit projects in the office, remotely or in the field.

Job Purpose

  • Oversee a portfolio of audit clients across a wide range of sectors.
  • Taking the lead in the field for on-site audits,
  • Lead audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Deliver audit files ensuring technical accuracy.
  • Oversee workflow and delegate audit engagements.
  • Auditing tax computations.
  • Producing drafts accounts and paperless audit files.
  • Adjustments and disclosures.
  • Budgets.
  • Support junior team members with constructive mentorship.
  • Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function.
  • Be the go-to advisor for clients, building professional relationships and adopting a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Support business development for the firm, identifying new service lines for existing and potential clients.
  • Set an example for the team as a natural leader.
