Our client, a forward thinking, independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Audit Senior to join their growing practice in Colindale, London.
The role will involve being responsible for a varied portfolio of clients including owner managed businesses, international business and large limited companies across a broad range of industries. You will play a vital part in carrying out audits from planning through to completion at client premises, delivering quality audits within budget and on time, allocating and reviewing jobs, reporting outcomes and highlighting any risks, together with regular contact and meetings with clients.
You will also supervise a small team of staff, providing support and on the job training where required. This role can either be 100% audit or can be split 60/70% audit and 30/40% accounts subject to experience.
You will ideally have at least 4-5 years UK audit experience in practice and hold a professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA, as well as possessing a good technical knowledge of FRS102, FRS102A and IFRS. A knowledge of consolidation of large or complex group audits and ISA600 would also be helpful.
Experience of Caseware, CCH and XERO would also be an advantage.
