Auditor - Block Discounting / Sub Hire

Home based

To £60,000 plus car allowance, bonus and benefits

Our client is a well established business offering a distinct Audit and Assurance service for their Asset Based Lenders and debt providers.

Due to growth they are looking to recruit a home based Block Discounting / Sub Hire Auditor to analyse operational and portfolio performance. You will be responsible for interrogating data for errors and fraud, identifying and assessing risk, reporting on findings and providing recommendations.

The successful candidate will;

  • Undertake audits at either at premises of customer delivery partners, or remotely (by arrangement)
  • Complete scheduled audits in accordance with the relevant scope
  • Conduct the audit in accordance with defined assessment criteria
  • Determine the performance of a debt portfolio; assessing receivables, collateral and processes underpinning the portfolio
  • Identify and assess risks and risk management controls, to ensure that risks are appropriately identified, reported and monitored
  • Identify areas for improvements.
  • Examine a wide range of documentation
  • Constantly review current working practices to ensure robustness and recommend changes

You will also ensure facilities are operated within lending policy guidelines and satisfy relevant compliance policy aspects including Anti Money Laundering and Conduct risk.
