You will support the Business to comply with Financial standards and assure that Financial accounts and reports reflect the business status and support steering and decision making.

Examples of main responsibilities are:* Managing financial structures in the systems, keep Master data information up to date and accessible for the business* Alignment and coordination of financial matters with our client's Finance Service departments (Tax, Accounting, Treasury, Audit)* Manage the monthly closing process, perform controls checks and align required accrual steps and balance sheet changes of the asset project portfolio with business colleagues* Coordinate monthly Forecasts and prepare the Management Reporting for your area of responsibility, challenge & advise business on financial impacts from forecast changes with regards to target reach including sensitivity analysis* Drive the quarterly alignment with Accounting on Management accounts in preparation for legal board meetings and prepare liquidity forecast for funding needs, support in audits * Support the business and investment planning processes in close alignment with business stakeholder of your area of responsibility* Be a key driver to improve their processes and financial structure towards digitalisation and automation - including data management, data loads and Power BI dashboard development (with support of the Centre of Excellence department)* Participate in improvement initiatives within the team and organisationQualificationsEssential requirements:* Preference for a Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)* First professional experience in Business Controls, accounting and management reporting* High proficiency in SAP essential* Excellent Excel skills* Power BI skills or general experience with data base visualisation* Experience in handling different stakeholders and aligning their goalsYou will also bring the following key competencies and strengths:* Strong team player, with the ability to cooperate on different levels* Strong ability to structure, analyse and interpret complex financial and commercial issues, as well as presenting the information in a clear and concise format (also to non-financial people)* Able to identify process improvements and lead them through to implementation* Ability to work independently, with a hands-on and pragmatic mind set.* Excellent communication skills and able to work across international cultures, ability to convene complex financial matters to different audiences.This role will be based at our clients central London head office & will require attendance in the office at least 50% of the working week.For more information on this excellent long term contract position please contact the recruitment team on or apply online
