Client Accountant£35k- £40k + Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home)Benefits: Strong bonus, enhanced pension, private health + moreThe role: This role will be working across a portfolio of commercial assets such as office space and retail units as well as some residential units. This is a fast paced role within a busy team of Client Accountants.Duties:

  • Client reporting including standard reports as well as some bespoke reporting for clients on specific assets ensuring all reporting targets are met.
  • Reconciliation of service charge income and expenditure
  • Handling client queries in a professional and efficient manner, providing further assistance where necessary
  • Liaising with internal real estate teams including Surveyors, Asset Managers to ensure all clients demands are being serviced.
  • Management of client and property cash-flow and funding
  • Liaise with Asset Managers and Service Charge Accountants to ensure all annual property service charge reviews are completed
  • Attend client and internal meetings as and when required
  • Maintenance of property & leases data on financial database
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar Client Accounting role highly desirable.
  • Previous use of a property management system such as Yardi, MRI or Qube
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment ensuring strict deadlines are met
