Venn Group have partnered with a well known Media business on their search for a new Client Accountant. This is an interim opportunity with a strong chance of going permanent.
The role is based in Central London and will operate on a hybrid structure (2/3 days per week on-site).
The successful candidate will be immediately available and will have pre-existing experience in the Finance function of a media company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial management of client accounts, ensuring accurate invoicing and reconciliations
- Prepare and review client financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Manage revenue recognition, WIP, and aged debt, working closely with the commercial finance team
- Act as a key point of contact for client queries, resolving financial discrepancies efficiently
- Support month-end and year-end processes, ensuring financial data integrity
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to optimise financial processes
- Proven experience in Finance within media, advertising, or creative industries
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition and reconciliations
- Proficiency in finance systems and MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and internal teams.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with great attention to detail.
