The company is growing year on year and through this they are now looking for a driven Accountant to join their supportive, fast paced finance team. This role will give you the opportunity to work with a like-minded experienced finance team where they can offer superb training, on-boarding and a long term finance career with them.
This opportunity has become available due to a recent promotion within the business, and they can offer industry leading benefits and progression alike. Paying between £35,000 - £40,000 plus CIMA or ACCA study support and superb benefits.
Under the guidance of a Head of Finance, you will manage a number of accounting and reporting duties for your portfolio of clients. As you develop, your responsibilities will grow further, making this the ideal role for a keen, enthusiastic Accountant who's keen to work with a fantastic finance team.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing Accounting support to your clients
- Month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, and reporting to clients in accordance with set timescales and service level agreements
- VAT returns, EC Sales lists, as well as balance sheet recs
- Typical management accounting support, including fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and some ad-hoc analysis
- Manage the year-end statutory accounts and audit processes
- Constantly monitoring your clients cash position including controlling payments
- Working closely with the transactional finance AP and AR Teams
- Daily use of Excel and Xero

Is this role right for you?
You must be a quick learner, with recent, relevant finance experience, who has a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and a good head for figures. We are looking for a team player who can assist the wider team and be able to organise your own desk. You will need to be a confident communicator with internal and external parties at all levels. You must be driven and keen to take on more tasks to expand your knowledge and assist the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a drive to study and will be fully supported here.
