About the Role:

As a Client Accountant, you will manage financial accounts for mixed-use portfolios, including rent, service charges, and operational costs. This unique role sits within a pioneering Mixed-Use Client Accounts division, offering the chance to develop expertise across both residential and commercial aspects of property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate client reporting, meeting all SLAs and KPIs.
  • Reconcile service charge income and expenditure with precision.
  • Act as the key point of contact for client queries, providing expert support.
  • Collaborate with surveyors and asset managers to meet client deliverables.
  • Manage property and lease data within financial systems.
  • Oversee cashflow and funding for client and property accounts.
  • Conduct annual service charge reviews, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Attend client and internal meetings, providing valuable input and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while maintaining strong client relationships.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Part-Qualified ACCA or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
  • Experience: Proven background in client accounting, ideally in property.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of financial reporting.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to manage ledgers with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Property Expertise: Familiarity with property transactions, service charges, and portfolio management is highly desirable.
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
