The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consolidation accounting, particularly in the elimination of intercompany transactions and balances. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for our government clients. Your new role
- Consolidation Accounting:Perform consolidation of financial statements for multiple government clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Elimination Entries:Prepare and review elimination entries to remove intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring accurate consolidated financial statements.
- Financial Reporting:Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Compliance:Ensure all financial activities comply with government regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Audit Support:Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor enquiries.
- Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process.
