The Role:

They are on the lookout for a Corporate Tax Director to join their team. In this high-level role, you will be the go-to corporate tax expert across their group of businesses and departments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the Firm's Compliance Function: Ensure all corporate tax compliance activities are executed flawlessly.
  • Leading a Corporate Tax Team: Manage and mentor a small team of talented tax professionals.
  • Providing and Reviewing Ad Hoc Advisory Planning Work: Offer expert advice and review planning work for their varied client base.

  • Advisory Work (60%-70%): Carry out high-level advisory work and then delegate and review it.
  • Compliance and Team Development: Oversee compliance functions and develop your team.

You'll be working with a real mixed bag of clients with no sector specialism, offering a huge variety of advisory work. No one area of corporate tax dominates, so you'll be a versatile tax problem solver and ready for anything.
