Role responsibilities
  • Leading the Business Tax Team, ensuring high standards of service and technical excellence
  • Managing a portfolio of large owner-managed businesses and SMEs across multiple sectors
  • Acting as the day-to-day lead for the tax team, overseeing workflows and ensuring compliance deadlines are met
  • Providing expert tax advisory services, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and planning strategies
  • Running the compliance team, ensuring all corporate tax compliance requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Supporting and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of professional development
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key advisor for tax matters

Candidate requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with extensive experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a large team
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and its application to OMBs and SMEs
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Commercially minded, with experience identifying and developing business opportunities
  • Ability to oversee complex tax compliance work while providing high-level strategic advice
