Corporate Tax Senior in a top 100 Accountancy Practice in London! We are working closely with our client to add to their well-established corporation tax team who are looking for a senior tax consultant to develop their corporation tax knowledge with the opportunity to work on ad-hoc advisory pieces.The firm is a forward-thinking practice investing heavily in people, technology and infrastructure. Their London office is based within central London, close to the tube station.Benefits

Responsibilities and DutiesAs a Corporate Tax Senior, you will be reporting to the manager and director within the team to assist in managing workflow. There are a wide variety of clients and the role provides career development and progression. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Create Company Tax Returns with supporting schedules and computations
  • Handle Capital Allowances reports and provide Corporate Interest Restrictions analysis
  • Submit Capital Gains reports and register non-resident companies for Corporation Tax
  • Liaising with our audit team to ensure that tax provisions are prepared with correct working papers for the inclusion within the financial statements and drafting tax disclosure notes where necessary
  • Responding to both clients and colleagues with regards to any ad-hoc tax related queries that they have on a daily basis
  • Ad hoc research tasks supporting the wider team to deliver tax advice reports and memos
  • Assist with various tax matters by liaising with HMRC and the firms' internal Tax Disputes Resolution team
  • Support trainees and create technical/marketing content.

RequirementsCandidates will need to be fully ACA/ACCA qualified and will have three to four years of corporate, personal, or mixed tax experience.Additional requirements include:

  • Ideally with an accountancy practice background
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, professional approach to clients and colleagues and a firm commitment to providing a top-quality service to our clients.
