Corporate Tax Specialist/Supervisor

Leading London based Accountancy Firm

£60,000 plus excellent benefits

Our client, a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants, is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior to join their busy team in London. This is a specialist corporate tax role where you will be responsible for servicing the firms largest stand-alone and client groups, primarily within the travel industry.

Reporting directly to the Tax Director, you will provide tax compliance, advisory and consultancy services to this growing portfolio. You will also work alongside and supervise junior staff, as well as liaising with the audit team in ensuring statutory accounts provide for materially correct tax provisions. You will be required to liaise with clients directly to make sure CT600s are finalised and submitted within the required deadlines and be involved with pre-year end client tax planning meetings and participation in consultancy projects when required.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification such as ATT and/or CTA and have at leave 3-4 years' corporation tax experience. You will also preferably have a good working knowledge of group tax planning, including, but not limited to, group relief planning, group payment arrangements and overall tax mitigation. Additionally, you will have an excellent working knowledge of Senior Accounting Officer requirements, publishing Tax Strategies, Corporate Interest Restrictions and Country By Country Reporting.

Experience in using Alphatax and CaseWare would be an advantage.
