About the Company:A dynamic and fast-growing media company looking to strengthen their finance team with a talented Credit Controller who has previous experience in the media industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the company’s sales ledger and ensuring prompt collection of payments from clients in the media industry.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to facilitate smooth debt recovery.
- Investigating and resolving any invoicing discrepancies and queries in a timely manner.
- Liaising with internal teams such as sales, finance, and legal departments to resolve complex billing issues.
- Monitoring aged debt and taking necessary action to meet collection targets.
- Reconciling accounts and managing cash allocation.
- Producing regular reports on debtors and overdue accounts for senior management.
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller within the media industry is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships professionally.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Good knowledge of credit control procedures, accounts reconciliation, and cash allocation.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, Xero) and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
