We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong accounting background to join our team. This role is heavily focused on financial data reconciliation rather than traditional accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) who excels in handling large datasets, reconciling financial data, and ensuring data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and reconcile financial data (not standard accounts payable or general ledger tasks).
  • Work with large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial data movement and implement resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate with finance and data teams to optimize data processes.
  • Use analytical tools to extract, manipulate, and interpret financial datasets.

Key Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) - qualification must be complete.
  • Proven experience in financial data reconciliation and working with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data trends.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
