Are you an experienced Financial Controller in the public sector? Our client, a dynamic and reputable organisation, is seeking a Deputy Financial Controller to join their team on a temporary basis. As the Deputy Financial Controller, you will play a vital role in overseeing both routine and more complex financial control functions. You will be responsible for developing effective and efficient financial and administrative systems to ensure that the department can fulfil its financial responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide professional and effective financial administration and support services.

This role offers a great level of responsibility, allowing you to take full ownership of major areas of work within the team. You will also have the opportunity to provide supervision and guidance to assigned staff, ensuring high-quality outputs and efficient allocation of work. Furthermore, as a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to deputise for the Financial Controller when required and support senior managers on relevant service and operational matters.
