Our client are a successful growing global Alternative Investment Manager and now seeking to recruit a Deputy Controller into the team. Our Client has offices in USA and UK. This role is working from the London office.

They are looking for a Deputy Financial Corporate Controller, who will report to the Corporate Controller. While this role is based in London it will have oversight of the corporate entities across the firm,providing multi-jurisdictional and regulatory exposure.

Duties and responsibilities:-

  • Accounts payable process oversight for the management companies
  • Day to day management of the Accounts payable person
  • Management of the Accounts payable automated process (Lightyear)
  • Oversight of employee expense reimbursement
  • Management of Cash and treasury
  • Review of management accounting packs produced by PWC
  • Responsibility for VAT, SUT, CRT,
  • Assistance in internal and external audit processes
  • Assistance in Regulatory reporting
  • Assistance with corporate tax, and other tax reporting (in conjunction with the Head of Tax)
  • Oversight of the Fund expense accounts payable
  • Ad hoc projects

Requirements:-

  • Relevant financial qualification
  • 1/2 years of experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Organised and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Self-driven and an independent worker

  • Paying up to 65,000 pa + a discretionary bonus and benefits. They would also consider a newly qualified or Finalist (with one or two exams remaining if they have the right experience)
