Stanton House are supporting a Private Equity backed client to source an EMEA Financial Controller within a dynamic finance team.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day finance operations within the region and will be the key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the regulatory, compliance, and reporting frameworks across multiple countries, and experience in managing financial operations in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial activities within the region (excluding holding companies)
  • Review and present monthly financial results and regional cash flows
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and forecasts
  • Monitor debt covenants and payments within regional entities
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of regional audits
  • Own trial balances and regional audit processes
  • Manage local statutory providers and auditors
  • Partner with the tax team to ensure compliance with all filings
  • Work closely with Treasury and FP&A on cash flow management, including debt drawdowns and capital call schedules
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA)
  • Strong commercial acumen and technical proficiency
  • Experience working with senior leadership teams and cross-functional departments
  • Ability to manage and lead teams remotely, with a strong understanding of cross-cultural dynamics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in ambiguity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the data center, technology, or infrastructure sectors is a plus
