As European Financial Controller for this scaling SME retail business, you will report to the CFO and your responsibilities will include;
- Driving the month end close for Europe including production of consolidated management accounts
- Responsible for all external and statutory reporting for Europe
- Responsible for all tax affairs within each country
- Responsible for the annual external audit process
- Responsible for all transactional finance including AP & AR
- Responsible for leading a finance team and included in this building a new team in the UK
- Drive automation and develop processes and controls
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of being a financial controller or experienced manager within Europe previously. You will have experience dealing with European tax (they do have external tax advisors too) and experience of leading and developing finance teams.
You will also have experience working within the retail industry.
Any knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 an advantage but not essential.

Hybrid working is available with 3 days office and 2 from home.
