Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Business Controller, who has a keen interest to start their career as an effective finance business partner. You will have drive and a willingness to learn. You are newly graduated or in the beginning of your career, and ready to be a central part of timely and accurate management accounting reporting and controlling. Furthermore, you will perform in-depth analysis of our business and financial KPIs, building partnerships and strong relationships with senior management and their teams.

You will be responsible for preparing large parts of the management accounting and forecasting, whilst delivering to the Head of Finance UK and partner group, working closely with a particular business unit creating a real and active partnership with both operations and management. Your role is to become a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making by providing 'real time' support and analysis. Critical to your success is an ability to communicate your message, to understand your stakeholders and deliver information in a clear and concise manner. It is this mix of analytical, commercial and communication skills which are at the heart of a successful Business Controller at Netcompany. Other responsibilities include attending meetings with the business and creating presentations. You are going to work closely with our UK and DK Finance team.

Key activities of the job as Business Controller are:

  • be in close contact with the business as a trusted business partner;
  • perform business critical analysis;
  • produce KPI commentary in the monthly reporting;
  • make accounting adjustments;
  • contribute to the continuous growth of the business.

Your own responsibilities allow you to develop a 360-view of the business and the way Netcompanys financial model operates. The position enables you to get a unique understanding of the financial KPIs that drives a business like Netcompany. In addition to this you are going to be part of our finance team, where you are able to develop yourself and gain valuable work experience within a multinational finance team.

Qualifications

  • Newly graduated or in the beginning of your career, with a degree in Finance and Control, Accounting and Control or similar with strong academic accolades;
  • A user of Excel and capable of working with large datasets;
  • Able to communicate and present excellently in English, both verbally and in writing.

You have a great analytic mindset, interested in accounting and understand the importance of being proactive. Furthermore, you are detail-orientated, focused on quality, and thrives of delivering on time when given an assignment.
