Finance Business Partner - Strategy & Commercial

Central London - Hybrid Working (1-2 days on site p/wk)

The Role

The successful Finance Business Partner will manage the following:

  • Work closely with senior management to deliver budgets and forecasts for your assigned business areas.
  • Understand the key business drivers of strategy and commercial teams to update and develop financial models, including the medium to long term view, and to challenge assumptions made by stakeholders.
  • Ensure relevant financial models are developed and maintained to support changing business needs, adapting where required to support the business strategy.
  • Provide robust 'Return on Investment’ analysis to support or challenge business cases and present the recommendations in key meetings.
  • Ensure relevant financial models are developed and maintained to support changing business needs, adapting where required to support the business strategy.
  • Partner senior business managers around the business, to best support the achievement of the group's objectives, through delivery of accurate, timely and value add support, advice and analytical output.
  • Attend SLT meetings monthly and report on the business performance, challenging the business on it's performance and/or pace of change.
  • Manage and support a qualified Management Accountant with the output of monthly management/financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly and YTD variance analysis on key areas for monthly reporting to support business decisions.

Your Profile

We are looking for an engaging, proactive and diligent commercial finance professional who is adaptable to change and enjoys working extensively with non finance stakeholders.

Someone with prior experience as a Management accountant, finance business partner or FP&A analyst who is looking to take on a true commercial partnering role. Equally, this role could suit a highly analytical qualified accountant making their first step into industry from a consulting or advisory role in a large accounting firm.

We need someone who has a commercial mindset and the confidence to build relationships with senior stakeholders that ensure robust decisions are made across commercial and strategy.

Benefits
