Finance Officer / Manager - Part-timeI am looking for an experienced finance candidate to join my client asap on a part-time basis. This role will be a mixture of home working and on-site. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has project experience to join this client who are an award-winning studio that creates an unforgettable immersive experiences at a global scale. This role reports into the General Manager and works closely with the Operations and Leadership teams. Your role is pivotal in keeping the finances of the business healthy and with a steady and managed cash flow. Communicating with the CFO on project-related finance planning and reporting. Responsibilities Accounts Payable

  • Has authority to approve weekly payment runs
  • Works with Studio Assistant to manage accounts
  • Point of contact for bookkeepers
  • Overall responsibility for project purchase cash flow - making sure purchases are paid for at the correct time with the correct funds
  • Special projects - is responsible for financing special projects - i.e streamlining processes/improving workflows
  • Managing French VAT returns through the Avalara platform

Accounts Receivable/ Credit Control

  • Responsible for making sure client invoices are sent and paid on time
  • Ensuring there are the funds needed to fund production projects
  • Communicating with Leaders/PMs - ensuring the team has a clear picture of who is and isn't paying on time and when pressure needs applying/projects need pausing
  • Working with PMs to input billing plans and send invoices in a timely manner
  • Managing database of client invoicing information
  • Ensuring payment terms have been agreed with clients and POs received
  • Advising on VAT and when applicable on projects

Cashflow - managementMake sure there is adequate cash in the right place to make payments, payroll, payment runs, and Tax and VAT payments.Forex - planningBooking in forward contracts, planning for forex repatriation and planning and making forex payments.
