Finance Officer | Renowned Theatre Organisation | London

Harmonic are delighted to be partnering exclusively with one of the UK's most reputable and well renowned theatre / performing arts institutions, in the search for a Finance Officer to join their supportive and values led team.

The Business:

Led by a senior leadership team of fantastic, experienced theatre space professionals, our client has been an incredible presence within the space since the 19th century! With a regular array of performances and productions taking place every week, there is an eclectic mix of theatre, live music, panto and comedy on offer. Winning regular industry awards, our client are extremely proud of their venue and offerings to customers, attracting thousands to their performances every month.

The team is made up of a range of departments, with a great culture in place throughout the organisation. With a shared love of the arts, this is a fantastic environment for non corporate, outward facing professionals who love playing a role in a fast paced, dynamic working environment.

The Role:

Reporting into an experienced Financial Controller and a Finance Director who both place a large emphasis on training and mentorship, there will be great support on offer. Along with the day to day, core responsibilities there will be exposure to senior duties supporting the FC, and will involve exposure to month end duties and the management accounts once fully established in the position.

Duties:

  • Take responsibility for both purchase ledger and sales ledger
  • Ensure invoices are registered and expenses are paid
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Process bank payments
  • Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Oversight of payroll working with outsourced provider
  • Ad hoc support for the financial controller

  • Experience across purchase ledger
  • Growth mindset and desire to grow career in finance

What we need to see (bonus):

  • ACCA / CIMA studier

Salary: £29k - £34k + study leave
