An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to work for a brilliant Community Based Charity in West London. The postholder will be working in a busy finance team and predominately supporting the purchase ledger function.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Manage supplier invoicing and payments
- Match, batch and code a high volume of supplier invoices
- Process payment runs for suppliers
- Oversee sales invoicing and cash allocations
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Assist with monthly reconciliations of control and balance sheets
- Post monthly journals and manage banking cheques
- Maintain petty cash and issue customer refunds
- Reconcile purchase and sales ledgers
- Handle supplier queries and send out statements
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- At least 3 years experience in a busy finance role
- Experience of working in a Charity finance team
- Working towards AAT, CIMA, CIPFA, or ACCA qualification
- Strong system skills including intermediate Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
