A mainstream primary school in Lewisham Borough is seeking a Finance Officer to join their administrative team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to support the financial operations of a well-established school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the school's financial administration, including budgeting, invoicing, and payroll processing.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and report on school finances, assisting with budget planning and forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in line with school policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, local authorities, and suppliers regarding financial matters.
  • Support the leadership team with financial decision-making and reporting.
