The role requires managing revenue streams, invoicing, and conducting account reconciliations, among other responsibilities.
Candidates must be fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc.) and possess advanced Excel skills, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
The position offers a competitive salary of £50,000 to £60,000 per year, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal communication skills.

A property investment business with a focus on care homes is recruiting a Financial Accountant due to growth in the business.

This Financial Accountant (Property) role is responsible for:

Managing revenue streams, invoicing, and accrued revenue postings
Reporting and analysing debtor accounting
Maintaining expenditure records and coding invoices accurately
Ensuring timely payments in accordance with company policy
Posting payments and receipts, organising and filing invoices
Preparation and posting of journals, supporting month-end tasks
Conducting account reconciliations and analysis, completing bank reconciliations
Month-end closing
Attending the services monthly budget meetings
Preparation of the weekly cash flow analysis
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
Preparation of the monthly management accounts with the required analysis
Assisting with the preparation of the year-end Budget/Forecast.
Assisting with the preparation of the year-end accounts/audits.
Assisting with the preparation of the year-end Tax.

To thrive in this Financial Accountant (Property) role, you'll be:

Fully qualified - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc
Advanced level Excel skills
Intermediate/Advanced level PowerPoint skills
Excellent attention to detail with a pragmatic approach
Exceptional verbal communication across all levels
Dynamic, self-motivated, and a clear communicator with a knack for tackling complex issues head-on
