Role: Financial Accountant
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Strand Hill are pleased to assist an exceptionally reputable commercial property company head-quartered in London in their search for a Financial Accountant.
With one of Europe's largest and most enviable office portfolios, the company is looking to continue growing through investing in its future across retail, residential and life sciences. They currently have circa £3bn in construction and a very strong pipeline that will see the construction of hundreds of thousands of sq ft of commercial properties and thousands of new homes for sale and rent.
As a result of this success and projected growth, they are seeking to add this Financial Accountant who will primarily be responsible for and take ownership of all aspects of financial reporting for a subset of entities as well as establishing processes for new entities. Roles and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

Preparation of the management accounts for internal reporting as well as reporting to joint venture partners

Quarterly reporting and working closely with the commercial finance team to make sure this is completed accurately and in a timely manner

Preparation and delivery of annual financial statements

Identify and implement system and process improvements
To succeed in this role you will need to possess the following attributes:

ACA/ACCA qualified

Minimum 1 year PQE experience

Experience gained in the development/construction industry

Accounts prep experience ideal but not required

Good understanding of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS
