Financial Accountant, 9-month contract, South West London, Hybrid (1 day required in the office)
Altum Consulting are delighted to be supporting an award-winning PE backed Technology Research Organisation in their search for a Senior Financial Accountant. This role is for an initial 9-month contract and will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and Senior Finance Manager. The successful applicant will take ownership of key financial responsibilities across multiple territories including UK, US and India.
Role:
- Manage financial reporting for entities in the UK, US, and India.
- Own P&L review, adjustments, and performance commentary.
- Conduct full balance sheet review and reconciliation.
- Assist with payroll processing and reporting.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and corporation tax returns.
- Handle intercompany transactions and transfer pricing.
- Support in complex accounting areas and accounts payable.
- Contribute to audit processes and business process improvements.
You'll be/have:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Experience in a similar role with multicurrency transactions
- Audit background is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
