Financial Accountant

A leading producer of Energy used in everyday life with a focus on low carbon technologies, this is an exciting and growing organisation to be a part of. With their Head Office located in London, you will be part of a high-performing finance department as a Financial Accountant.
Your new role
Your role as Financial Accountant will focus on technical accounting and consolidation. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Prepare group level consolidated financial statements including ESG reporting
- Prepare statutory accounts under IFRS and FRS101
- Manage intercompany, loan and debt cost transactions
- Work closely with the Audit team on group and statutory audits
- Take a lead in advising on accounting treatments
- Develop financial strategies and support with M&A activity
- Work on ad hoc systems projects
- Support in mentoring junior team members.

What you'll need to succeed
This role would be a great fit for you if you are an ACA Qualified Accountant with experience working on complex consolidations, technical accounting and reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP. Any experience of using large ERP systems, such as SAP, and also modelling tools would be advantageous. You will also be a strong communicator and able to work confidently in a large multinational group.
