Role: Financial Accountant / Analyst

Location: South West London - 3 days in office

Salary: £42-48k + study support & benefits

This is a prestigious education and training business based in south west London. They provide a wide range of services for millions of students & adults internationally with a strong presence across several countries.

As they continue successful growth, they are looking to hire a part-qualified or finalist level Financial Accountant (Analyst) to join their finance department.

Role

This position is a broad role encompassing budgeting, pricing and financial planning / control. The Financial Accountant for this education and training firm will take on a number of key duties including:

  • Budgeting and pricing of various programmes, supporting the Finance Manager
  • Preparation of quarterly forecasts
  • Supporting preparation of financial accounts and statutory returns
  • Assisting senior leadership in financial planning and various projects related to the business
  • Processing of financial transactions
  • Approval of payments and expenses in accordance with budgets
  • Maintaing and updating financial policies and procedures
  • Monthly variance reporting of costs and revenue
  • Supporting on other ad hoc projects for the wider finance department

Profile

The ideal profile for this Financial Accountant (Analyst) position should have the following attributes:

  • Part-qualified or Finalist level Accountant.
  • Experience in producing statutory accounts and supporting management account procedures.
  • Strong experience in forecasting & budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to business partner.
  • Strong technical skills with MS Excel.
