Cedar is teaming up with a leading complex organisation undergoing an exciting restructure and expansion within their finance team. They are seeking an ACCA finalist / fully-qualified Financial Accountant to strengthen and maintain a financially controlled environment and provide support, reconciliation and review over an assigned group of entities.

Salary: £54,000 - £58,000 per annum

Location: South East England

Hybrid Pattern: 1-2 days on site per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accurate preparation of statutory accounts and monthly reconciliations of intercompany accounts.
  • Ensure the smooth and timely delivery of all regulatory returns and audits.
  • Advise the Audit & Risk committee of any associated risks following the preparation of the quarterly financial reports.
  • Continuously improve processes across the financial accounting and control function.
  • Utilise Excel and in-house systems to maintain and manage large, complex amounts of data.
  • Line manage and mentor junior members of staff, track departmental performance against predetermined KPIs and arrange training where needed.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified ACCA professional or an active finalist.
  • Previous experience auditing complex groups or producing consolidated accounts.
  • Demonstrable initiative and drive with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Proficiency with Dynamics 365, and Power BI is advantageous.
