We are currently working with an International law firm based near St Pauls who are looking to hire a newly qualified Financial Accountant on an initial 6 month FTC basis.

Salary starting from £55,000

Hybrid Working - 3 days office based / 2 remote

St Pauls / Chancery Lane

The role will support the London and international offices with the whole financial accounting functions and requires an individual who enjoys an autonomous role who can settle quickly and support multiple groups and offices. You will find yourself generating budget and cashflow reports, monthly & annual statutory reports and surveys), partnership accounting, performance reports for the London/UK operations as well as handling relationships with banks.

Reporting into the Head of Accounts you will need to have a clear understanding of how an international law firm operates and the different cultures you will inevitably encounter. With this in mind, candidates must be either newly ACCA/CIMA qualified from a Big Four accountancy firm, or part qualified, preferably with current experience working in a law firm’s accounting department. You will have;

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, macro skills preferable
  • PMS experience, ideally Aderant or Elite
  • Knowledge and preparation of statutory accounts, budget maintenance
  • Strong compliance knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
