The Company:Our client, a leading FMCG business in Central London, is seeking a Financial Accountant to focus on consolidations within their high-performing finance team. This role is ideal for a practice-trained, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) looking to bring their technical expertise into an exciting and fast-paced industry setting.

The Role:As the Financial Accountant - Consolidations Focus, you will play a pivotal role in managing group consolidations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage group consolidations for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS) across all reporting.
  • Support the statutory reporting process, liaising with external auditors.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Provide technical accounting advice to the finance team and wider business.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and improve the consolidation process.

About You:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a practice-trained background (Big 4 or Top 10 preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of consolidations and statutory reporting.
  • Experience with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
