Financial Accountant
Central London | Real Estate | £50-60,000 + benefits
This dynamic Commercial Real Estate Business in Central London is looking for a dynamic Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to work as a Financial Accountant in its busy central finance function. Reporting to the CFO, key tasks include:
- Preparation of management accounts for a range of SPVs
- Preparation of audit files for the business and SPVs
- Commercial analysis and reporting
- Preparation of VAT returns for all companies in the group
- General ledger reconciliations
- Annual budget planning
- Variance analysis against budget
- Responsible for the company balance sheet and all reconciliations.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with auditors and provide information and analysis as required.
Key traits that the successful candidate will have include:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. They may also consider someone who isn't fully qualified but in the later stages of their studies.
- Strong financial reporting skills with a background in practice or industry. A property background would be ideal but not essential
- Excellent written & oral communication.
- Strong systems skills including advanced excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and a 'can do' attitude.
