Venn Group are currently working with an established Housing Association in London who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for a range of duties including statutory accounting, VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.

Duties:

  • Lead on the production of the statutory accounts of all subsidiaries
  • Review balance sheets and ensure balance sheet reconciliations and completed accurately
  • Efficiently prepare VAT returns
  • Assist with internal and external audits, dealing with queries and implementing recommendations
  • Line manage 2 individuals and provide any necessary training

Experience:

  • Part / fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
  • Knowledge of the Housing sector (desirable)
