One of London's leading Universities requires a Financial Accountant to start ASAP.

The successful candidate will be at CCAB qualified and have previous experience in managing audits and year end.

Day to day duties:

  • Preparing quarterly and annual accounts and other statutory returns
  • Preparing cashflow forecasts
  • Responsible for managing audits and answering auditor queries
  • Ensuring sufficient cash is available for operations and maximising returns on cash deposits
  • Maintaining University asset register and assisting with evaluation and financial management of capital
  • Preparing 5 year balance sheet projections for the University
  • Assisting in the preparation of tax computations including VAT returns

Essential:

  • CCAB qualified
  • Previous experience of producing statutory accounts and managing audits
