As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team and play a critical role in supporting our financial operations at a group level.

The RoleAs a Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be instrumental in driving the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional looking for their second move into industry and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare group consolidations and statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 (desirable but not essential).
  • Manage and reconcile group-level accounts across multiple entities.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Provide technical accounting advice and updates to the wider finance team.
  • Assist in the implementation of financial systems and processes to support growth.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiency across reporting activities.

Essential Requirements:

  • ICAEW qualification (or equivalent), with a preference for candidates trained in a Big 4 environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and consolidations.
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts under IFRS.
  • Excellent reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage and interpret complex financial data.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Desirable Experience:

  • Exposure to IFRS 16.
  • Experience working within a group-level finance function.
