As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team and play a critical role in supporting our financial operations at a group level.
The RoleAs a Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be instrumental in driving the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional looking for their second move into industry and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare group consolidations and statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 (desirable but not essential).
- Manage and reconcile group-level accounts across multiple entities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Provide technical accounting advice and updates to the wider finance team.
- Assist in the implementation of financial systems and processes to support growth.
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiency across reporting activities.
About YouWe are looking for a driven, detail-oriented individual with a strong technical foundation and a desire to contribute to the success of a high-growth business.
Essential Requirements:
- ICAEW qualification (or equivalent), with a preference for candidates trained in a Big 4 environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and consolidations.
- Experience preparing statutory accounts under IFRS.
- Excellent reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage and interpret complex financial data.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to IFRS 16.
- Experience working within a group-level finance function.
