Financial Accountant | London / Hybrid | Design & Consultancy business | £40-50,000 + study support, bonus, benefits

Following a period of reorganisation, this dynamic PE backed Design & Consultancy business in Central London is offering an excellent career development opportunity for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant who can be responsible for managing the Group fixed asset portfolio and intercompany reporting, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial audits and capital allowance reviews. This role involves a combination of routine asset management tasks, financial reporting, and collaboration with external auditors. Key tasks include:

  • Record and maintain accurate entries for fixed asset additions and disposals in the fixed asset management system. Deprecation runs to ensure accurate depreciation
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of fixed assets on the balance sheet and profit and loss statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and analyse fixed asset spending reports for the group expenditure reporting.
  • Capital Expenditure reporting including any projects under consideration, costs, funding sources and timelines.
  • Responsible for Intercompany modules and all aspects of Intercompany. Prepare monthly intercompany reports, reconciliations and upload detailed intercompany transactions into the system
  • Assist with the annual process for the group and statutory entities by providing necessary documentation, data and explanations regarding fixed assets
  • Collaborate with external tax adviser during capital allowance review process, providing required documentations and insights to facilitate the review

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an ambitious Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA,CIMA,ACA), with solid commercial experience and knowledge of fixed asset accounting and intercompany reporting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory regulations are a must as well as strong systems skills including Microsoft Excel. You will also have excellent analytical skills and lots of attention to details.
