Robert Half are working with a pharmaceutical solutions business to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 7-month contract. This position is crucial to cover roles during a system migration taking place in 2025 - because of this only candidates with Netsuite will be considered. The role can pay up to £375/day inside IR35 (depending on experience).

The Company

This role offers the chance to work for a global pharma solutions business who are challenging their market to bring life-changing therapies to market quicker. The business is going through growth and change including investing in an upgraded finance system.

The Role

As the Financial Accountant, you would be supporting with:

  • Assist with monthly revenue recognition in NetSuite
  • Review & prepare monthly journal entries.
  • Creating csv journal import files for externally managed subsidiaries.
  • Review & prepare monthly accrual entries
  • Review and correct monthly general ledger variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheet and profit and loss statements
  • Assist with audit preparation and requests.
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Maintain effective relationships with business partners
  • Provide support for special ad-hoc projects as directed
  • The UK & ROW finance department is developing, and processes are still being established; the role and requirements may change as the business evolves.

Your Profile

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience in Netsuite is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a similar interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

As well as a salary of up to £375/day inside IR35 (dependant on experience) the business offers the chance to work on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the Central London office required.
