What you'll do:
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and reconciliations.
- Apply relevant accounting standards and implement audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Management Accountant to provide insightful financial information that supports decision-making.
- Assist the CFO with key financial reports, including cash flow and capital expenditure forecasts.
- Contribute to process enhancements and financial controls.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ICAEW/ACCA) with 2+ years of experience.
- Proven ability to manage financial accounting tasks independently, including year-end processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical accounting skills.
- Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector (desirable).
- Proficiency in Sage 200 (or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
