What you'll do:

  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and reconciliations.
  • Apply relevant accounting standards and implement audit recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Management Accountant to provide insightful financial information that supports decision-making.
  • Assist the CFO with key financial reports, including cash flow and capital expenditure forecasts.
  • Contribute to process enhancements and financial controls.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Accountant (ICAEW/ACCA) with 2+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability to manage financial accounting tasks independently, including year-end processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and technical accounting skills.
  • Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Sage 200 (or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
