The OpportunityThis is an exciting chance to become an integral part of an ambitious and supportive London based finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in financial and management reporting, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. With the firm's continuous expansion, you will also have the opportunity to work on finance-related projects and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities for the Financial Accountant:-
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&Ls and variance analysis

Posting of month-end accounting journals (prepayments, accruals, bad debt provision, etc.)

Balance sheet reconciliation and fixed asset register maintenance

Preparation of financial KPIs, VAT returns, and ad-hoc financial reports

Supporting the LLP's statutory audit and responding to audit queries

Assisting with finance system improvements and policy updates
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with a strong problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate Financial Accountant will have:

Newly qualified to 1-year post-qualified (ACA/ACCA)

Advanced Excel skills

Experience in the legal or professional services sector (Law firm or Accountancy Practice)

Strong communication skills to liaise with non-finance stakeholders

A team-player mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
