A leader in their field Marcoms Agency that pride themselves with detail-orientated execution, clear communication and memorable results are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to manage Finance, IT and Operational functions with the help of an Assistant Management Accountant. The Agency is growing and increasing their profit year on year, they are excited to welcome someone with the drive, experience and bags of ideas helping them navigate in this rather challenging market.
- Short and long-term financial planning with SLT
- Monthly management accounts preparation and reporting including P&L and balances
- Month End reporting and analysis of KPIs including recovery of time, staff utilisation, client profitability
- Ownership of Board Pack for Board of Directors containing performance data and analysis including comparisons with commentary and KPIs
- Preparing and managing cash flow projections
- Improvement and training of finance systems processes for the department and wider team to drive accuracy, consistency and profitability
- Analyse resource & project performance, highlighting utilisation and recovery concerns or opportunities for wider learning
- Payroll and pension management with external supplier
- Statutory accounting (including VAT, PAYE, CT & Companies House returns)
This is an all encompassing role for someone that enjoys and embraces agency culture, will join company and client events and help build the narrative. You will be supported by a fabulous Assistant Management Accountant and an Office Manager, joining the journey of a very exciting 2025!
