I am Currently working exclusively with a unique Fintech Firm to support the hire for a Financial Controller. As a Industry leader the business is thriving and seeing steady growth. Due to this growth, they are looking for a Financial Controller to support and develop to finance function.

As a Financial Controller, you will be leading process improvement and the efficiency of the finance function as they scale. Within the role you will work closely with the C-Suite the support the execution of the company strategy.

  • Building and developing the internal finance team, managing 2 direct reports.
  • Responsible for operational processes, including monthly payroll, management reporting, cash reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.
  • Coordinate all the monthly and quarterly FCA reporting.
  • Oversee treasury management, including cash flow forecasting.
  • Ownership of the annual audit, ensuring timely execution, accurate reporting with minimal error and within budget.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider business to represent the needs for the finance function.
  • Manage the staff, including administering agreements, filing returns, and handling subscription payments.
  • Take ownership of month-end reporting process, compiling month-end reports and senior management KPI packs.

Candidate Profile:

  • ACA Qualified with post qualified experience within scaling business.
  • Strong report and accounting knowledge.
  • Previous experience working with Non-Finance Stakeholders.
  • A confident communicator with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
